LED Lighting Upgrades
Replacing your existing lighting with LED is one of the most straightforward ways to reduce energy consumption across your estate. We survey your installation, specify the right solution for each space, and carry out the full replacement – retrofit where appropriate, full refit where it is not.

FAQs
Straight answers to the most common questions about LED lighting upgrades.
What is the difference between retrofit and full replacement?
Retrofit involves replacing the lamp and driver within your existing fitting. It is quicker and less disruptive, and works well where fittings are in good condition and the original layout still suits the space.
Full replacement removes the fitting entirely and installs new luminaires. We advise on which approach is right for each area of your site during the survey.
Do we have to replace all our lighting at once?
No. We can phase the upgrade by floor, zone, or building, which allows you to manage the project around your operations and spread the capital cost. We design the programme so each phase is complete and functional in its own right.
What are the implications of the fluorescent lamp ban?
The UK has banned the sale of most fluorescent lamps, including T8 tubes. Replacement stock is becoming harder to source, and the maintenance cost of an ageing fluorescent installation will continue to rise. Fluorescent lamps also contain mercury and require specialist disposal. Switching to LED removes both problems.
Can you integrate smart lighting controls?
Yes. Presence detection, daylight harvesting, and dimming can all be incorporated as part of the upgrade. We design the controls alongside the luminaire specification so they work as a system, not as an afterthought.
