At a data centre in Croydon, Prolec delivered a coordinated package of external lighting and EV-infrastructure upgrades. The scope included the installation of 27 bollard luminaires to enhance safety and visibility across the site, while carefully minimising impact on local wildlife, alongside eight dual outlet electric-vehicle chargers to support increasing demand.
Our Approach
To support the new infrastructure, upstream electrical upgrades were carried out, including a new supply from the LV panel using 240 mm² 4-core SWA cabling, the installation of an MCCB panel, two new distribution boards, and all associated containment.
SWA circuits were installed within protective ducting, routed into the car park, and neatly integrated into the EV charger pillars to ensure a robust and discreet installation.
The Outcome
On completion, all ground surfaces were fully reinstated, line markings refreshed, and the site handed back in a clean, safe, and fully operational condition.
