From our company name evolving to better reflect what we do, to strengthening our leadership team and welcoming new talent, the start of 2026 marks an exciting new chapter for Prolec.

Here is what has changed and what continues to drive us forward.

A Name That Reflects Who We Are Today

As part of our continued growth, Prolec Electrical Services is now Prolec Electrical and Compliance Solutions.

This change reflects how the business has evolved over time. When Prolec was established in 2013, the focus was clear. Raise standards in electrical testing and compliance at a time when quality across the industry was often inconsistent and too frequently treated as a box-ticking exercise.

From the outset, our approach was different. Do the job properly the first time and identify issues others might overlook. That commitment to thoroughness and accountability helped us build trusted relationships with clients operating in critical environments, including data centres, financial institutions and complex commercial settings.

As the business has developed, so has the scope of our work. Today, alongside electrical testing and compliance, Prolec delivers full commercial electrical projects, electrical fit outs, LED lighting upgrades, commercial EV charging infrastructure and wider efficiency and sustainability improvements.

The new name is not a change in direction. It is a clearer reflection of the responsibility, expertise and accountability we bring to every project. The standards we work to remain exactly the same.

Strengthening Our Leadership Team

The start of 2026 has also seen an important step forward within our leadership structure.

Terri Boxell has been promoted to Operations Manager, in recognition of her contribution to the business and her role in supporting our continued growth.

Terri plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered smoothly, teams are supported, and clients receive the consistent service Prolec is known for.

She had this to say about her promotion:

“I am really pleased to be promoted to Operations Manager at Prolec. I look forward to continuing to support the team in delivering safe, reliable and high-quality work for our clients.”

 

Her promotion strengthens the operational structure that supports both our team and our clients.

Welcoming Samantha to Prolec

Alongside internal progression, we are also pleased to welcome Samantha to the Prolec team.

As the business continues to expand, bringing in new talent is essential to maintaining the high standards and responsiveness our clients expect.

Samantha said:
